we can't say this has been a great summer, but one needs to be more stubborn than the weather and just go swimming in the open air.
as i am a city girl and the ponds are too creepy for me, the lido in hampstead is a great alternative. and because the clouds were covering the sun, not many people took there change and we almost had this huge pool just for ourselves.
