scratch 'n' sniff

definitely, the best valentine's option i came across in london. being an anti-valentine's person the amount of things that bombard you around this time make me almost allergic to these events. but i guess this one is worthwile. it's a pity they chose valentine's day to do it though...

"The UK's first such event is part of the Jotta Craft Fair, a fortnight of interactive activity. The film for Scratch 'n' Sniff Cinema, which is organised by 'architectural foodsmiths' Bompass & Parr, is Peter Greenaways's strange creation 'The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover' (1989). Guests receive a scratch 'n' sniff card containing aromas from key moments in the film – they include rotting meat and dusty books. The evening includes a romantic presentation about the film and a Valentine-themed menu."
