it's in room 41 at the national portrait gallery and it's free entry. this exhibition by the francis alÿs - fabiola - is an installation of hundreds of portraits of a 4th christian saint. they are all versions of an original dated from the 19th century and where handpicked by the artist from markets, antique shops and private collections.
the exhibition will be on until 20 september.
"In that respect, this show is also a gentle reminder that art doesn’t necessarily have to be in good taste to be good. Because some of these paintings are, in fact, pretty bad."
