idea for thursdays

'The Grand Union mini-chain has jumped on the gourmet-burger craze — and added a cocktail lounge to the concept. A nice mix of lived-in style and contemporary decor makes the space feel (dangerously) like a second home, meaning it's easy to let a few hours slip by as you digest your avocado-and-bacon burger and sip on your third mojito. Every Thursday, the Highgate branch also hosts a night of acoustic music, provided by some of North London's up-and-coming strummers and pluckers. A cozy alternative to those perpetually packed clubs.'
